卅六. 左高探馬
由前式徐徐吸氣, 左腳不動, 右腳落地成右弓步, 同時右手以肘為軸, 向下向內向上繞圈翻成陽掌向前壓平; 左掌由左耳側用陰掌外緣向前推砍, 高與肩平, 目視左掌, 如圖109。
Posture 36. Left High Pat on Horse
[Continuing] from the previous movement, slowly inhale. Keeping the left foot in place, drop the right foot on the ground to end in a right bow stance. At the same time, coil the right hand to circle down, inward and then upward using the elbow as an axis, ending with a Yang fist and pressing the [right forearm] downward [at chest level]. Also, pass the left palm by the side of the left ear using a Yin palm and then push forward using the outer edge as a chopping palm at shoulder level height. Look at the left palm as in Figure 109.
