卅四. 右高探馬
(一). 由前式鬆腰, 徐徐吸氣, 坐右腿身右擰, 面對東南, 右鉤掌鬆開成陽掌落平, 左手上翻变成陽掌, 如圖103。
Posture 34. Right High Pat on Horse
(1) [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Sit on the right leg and twist the body towards the right to face the southeast. Release the right hooked palm, dropping it to end in a Yang palm at [shoulder] level. Flip the left hand over to change into a Yang palm, as in Figure 103.

(二). 由前式身左擰, 左腳後收成左虛步。同時左手以肘為軸, 向下向內繞圈, 再向前翻成陽掌, 高與胸平; 右手提肘囬轉成陰掌, 經右耳側用掌外緣向前推砍, 高與眼平, 氣沉丹田以貫注兩掌, 面對正東, 目視右掌, 如圖104。
(2) [Continuing] from the previous movement, twist the body towards the left and withdraw the left foot back to end in a left empty stance [xūbù]. At the same time, coil the left hand to circle down and inward using the elbow as an axis. Then, flip [the left hand] over to end in a Yang palm at chest level height. Raise the right hand up [using] the elbow [as an axis], turning it over to a Yin palm as it passes by the side of the right ear, and then pushing forward with the outer edge as a chopping palm at eye level height. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then focus [the Qi] into the two palms. Face directly towards the east, and look at the right palm, as in Figure 104.
