三〇. 活步攬雀尾
(一). 右後[扌+履]: 由前式鬆腰, 徐徐吸氣, 兩腳不動, 後坐右腿, 身右擰,同時右手
变掌,由右上方向後[扌+履],掌心朝外,左手扶右腕背,面對西北,目視右掌,如圖83。
Posture 30. Walking Grasp Sparrow's Tail
(1) Rollback to right rear:
[Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Keeping both feet in place, sit back on the right leg and twist the body towards the right. At the same time, change both hands by rolling back [lǚ] from the upper right to the rear and turning the palm centers outward, with the left hand supporting the back of the right wrist. Face the northwest, and look at the right palm, as in Figure 83.

(二). 進步前上掤: 由前式左腳尖外擺約30度,右腳邁進成右弓步。同時右手下落,隨右腿前進上掤,虎口向上,手心向內,高與眼平,左手扶右腕內側,面西, 目視右掌,如圖84。
(2) Step forward and ward-off upward:
[Continuing] from the previous movement, swing the left toes outward approximately 30 degrees. Step the right foot forward to end in a bow stance. At the same time, drop the right hand downward, and then when the right let steps forward, ward-off [peng] upward using the [right hand]. The tiger's mouth [of the right hand] is facing upward and the center of the hand is facing inward at eye level height. Use the left hand to support at inside of the right wrist. Face the west and look at the right palm, as in Figure 84.

(三). 標步左[扌+履]: 由前式鬆腰, 徐徐吸氣,右腳不動,左腳前邁一步尖仍外擺成標步。同時左手推右手向右前方平刷半圈, 再向左後[扌+履] 囬, 面西南,目視右掌,如圖85。
(3) Crossed step, rollback to left:
[Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Keeping the right foot in place, take one step forward using the left foot with the toes still turned outward to end in a crossed stance [biāo bù]. At the same time, use the left hand to push the right hand forward towards the right, painting a [shoulder] level semicircle. Then, roll to the left to face the southwest. Look at the right palm, as in Figure 85.

(四). 上步打擠: 由前式鬆腰, 左腳不動,右腳前邁一步,同時徐徐沉氣,左掌根推右手腕向胸前下切,繼向前平擠,面西,目視右掌,如圖86。
(4) Step up to press:
[Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist. Keeping the left foot in place, take one step forward using the right foot. At the same time, slowly sink the Qi and press the root of the left palm's [fingers] at the inside of the right wrist while slicing [the right forearm] down in front of the chest. Then, press [jǐ] forward at [chest] level. Face the west and look at the right palm, as in Figure 86.

(五). 雙[扌+履]: 由前式鬆腰, 徐徐吸氣, 兩腳不動, 向前兩手变陽掌, 收囬腰間, 身左擰,面西南, 目視兩掌, 如圖87。
(5) Double rollback:
[Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Keeping both feet in place, first change both hands to Yang palms, then withdraw them to each side of the waist and twist the body towards the left. Face the southwest and look at both palms, as in Figure 87.

(六). 雙按: 由前式, 身腰徐徐右擰至面對正西。同時兩掌上提至與肩高時口兩側向前平按, 若口吐出然, 目注兩掌, 如圖88。
(6) Double push:
[Continuing] from the previous movement, slowly twist the body's waist towards the right until facing directly to the west. At the same time, raise both hands until they are at shoulder level. Then when they are mouth level, push [àn] forward at [shoulder] level, as if spitting out of the mouth. Look at both palms, as in Figure 88.

[Translation note: Steps (5) and (6) don't mention sitting back on the left leg and then pushing though the back leg to end in a bow stance, but it should be the same as steps (5) and (6) of Posture 5. On the posters, repetitions of the same posture don't always use the same text. This is helpful, because it adds more cues and alignment tips. The imagery of the hands "spitting out of the mouth" is interesting!]
