卄三. 提手上勢
由前式鬆腰起身右腳不動, 上身起立, 左腳前移成自然步。 同時右手向前向上提起, 架於額前上方成陰掌, 左手成陰掌, 按於腰前, 大指對臍, 氣沉丹田, 面南, 目前平視, 如圖70。
Posture 23. Raise Hand Up
[Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and raise the body. Keeping the right foot in place, shift the left foot forward to end in a natural stance [i.e., feet parallel at hip distance]. At the same time, raise the right hand up to the front, blocking above in front of the forehead. Push [àn] the left hand down in front of the waist using a Yin palm, with the thumb opposite the navel. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and face the south, as in Figure 70.
