卄一. 斜飛勢
(一).由前式鬆腰, 徐徐吸氣,兩腳不動, 後坐左腿,身左擰,同時左手由上向左後方[扌+履], 稍低於肩, 右手向右前撑開, 高與肩平, 兩手均成立掌, 面北, 如圖63。
Posture 21. Slant Flying Gesture
(1) [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Keeping both feet still, sit back on the left foot and twist the body to the left. At the same time, rollback [lǚ] with the left hand, going up and over to the left rear until it is slightly below shoulder [level]. [Also], open the right hand to the front-right and brace [i.e., block] at shoulder level height. Use standing palms for both hands and face the north, as in Figure 63.

(二). 由前式鬆腰,稍坐實右腿, 身下蹲, 左腳進至右腳傍, 足尖點地, 体重移於右腿, 面對東北。同時右手立掌上豎向左護面,停於左肩前, 左手下落護襠, 右手心朝左, 左手心朝右, 兩掌上下相應, 如圖64。
(2) [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and sit somewhat solidly on the right leg. Squat the body down, and move the left foot until it is next to the right foot, with the toes [of the left foot] touching the ground. Shift the weight onto the right leg and face the northeast. At the same time, move the right hand up towards the left as a vertical standing palm to guard in the front of the face. Then, stop [moving the right hand] when it is in front of the left shoulder. Also, drop the left hand to guard the groin. The center of the right hand is facing left, and the center of the left hand is facing right. Both hands are aligned on the top and bottom, as in Figure 64.

(三). 由前式, 左腳向東北邁進一步。同時左手立掌由下向上挑與肩平, 肘與左膝上下相對; 右手立掌由上向下[扌+履]向後撑成陰掌, 置於右胯外。頂頭塌腰,沉肩墜肘,氣沉丹田以貫注兩掌, 面對東北, 如圖65。
(3) [Continuing] from the previous movement, use the left foot to take one step forward towards the northeast. At the same time, lift the left hand up from below using a standing palm at shoulder level, ending with the [left] elbow and the left knee aligned on the top and bottom. At the same time, rollback [lǚ] the upper right standing palm towards the lower rear and brace [i.e., block] with a Yin palm at the outside of the right hip joint [kuà]. Push through the crown of the head and settle down into the waist. Sink the shoulders and drop the elbows. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then focus [the Qi] into the both palms. Face the northeast, as in Figure 65.
