Dr. Shaili Sett is an experimental condensed matter physicist whose research explores the physics and device potential of low-dimensional materials. She completed her undergraduate studies in Physics at St. Xavier's College, Kolkata and obtained her M.Sc. in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. She received her Ph.D. from S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata, where her research focused on nanoscale electronic phenomena in emerging materials.

Following her doctoral work, she pursued postdoctoral research at the Department of Physics at Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, followed by a research fellow position at the University College London, UK.
