I was born and raised in Brazil, a vibrant country known for its rich culture and diverse landscapes. I completed my bachelor's degree in Business in 2014 and started working as a pre-school teacher two years later. In 2017, I embarked on an exciting adventure—an exchange program that took me to the United States. Little did I know that this journey would change my life forever.
The allure of the US captivated me, and I decided to stay. Fast-forward to 2020, when I enrolled in graduate school at NC State University. There, I delved into the fascinating field of International Studies, exploring global affairs, diplomacy, and cross-cultural dynamics.
My story concerns curiosity, resilience, and the pursuit of knowledge across borders. From the bustling streets of Brazil to the academic halls of North Carolina, I've embraced every opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with people from all walks of life.
I have a degree in Business Administration from the State University of Maranhão, in Brazil, a master's degree in International Studies from North Carolina State University, and a certificate in translation and interpretation from Wake County Community College. Understanding languages is one of my greatest passions, so I decided to pursue a career in translation services.
I am a Junior Associate of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) and Study Affiliate at the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL).
