• Translation Data: Text or images you submit for translation are transmitted to Google Cloud Translation API (v3) solely for processing and returning results.

• Advertising Data: We collect and use the Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) and device identifiers for ad personalization, analysis, and monetization.

• Analytics Data: Through Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics, we collect app usage patterns to improve features and performance.

• Crash & Performance Data: We collect crash logs, device model, OS version, and technical identifiers to ensure compatibility and security.

• Description: Foreground service permission.

• Description: Foreground service permission for special use cases.

• Trigger Point: When the floating ball feature is enabled.

• Description: Foreground service type: Allows the application to start screen projection/recording while running in the background.

• Explanation: The foundation for the full-screen translation and regional translation features of the floating ball.

3. Multimedia & Device Hardware Permissions

Permission: android.permission.CAMERA

• Trigger Point: Entering the camera/photo page.

• Description: Allows the application to access the device's camera.

• Explanation: Used in scenarios where the app takes photos for text recognition (OCR).

Permission: android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO

• Trigger Point: Clicking the microphone icon on the conversation translation page, clicking the voice icon on the text translation page, clicking the language icon in the pinned notification bar to enter the text translation page, or clicking the language tab on the bottom navigation bar of the homepage.

• Description: Allows the application to access the device's microphone or audio input stream.

• Explanation: Used in speech recognition scenarios within the application.

4. Interface Interaction & System Permissions

Permission: android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW

• Trigger Point: Clicking the authorization button on the quick translation page.

• Description: Allows the application to draw content on top of all other applications, commonly known as the "floating window" or "overlay" permission.

• Explanation: Used for the application's floating ball feature.

Permission: android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

• Trigger Point: Throughout the application's lifecycle.

• Description: To access network state information.

Permission: android.permission.BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE

• Trigger Point: When the floating translation bubble is enabled and dragged over text in other applications.

• Description: Allows the application to read text content on the screen via the Accessibility Service.

• Explanation: Used in the floating translation bubble scenario, where it reads text at the specific location when the user drags the bubble over a text area to provide a translation.

We do not use these permissions for any purpose other than those stated above.

We use collected data to:
