This Privacy Policy explains how Transcribe audio to text - AI (the App) handles information. In this policy, we and usrefer to the App’s developer.

Audio and transcripts stay on your device

The App lets you record or import audio, create transcripts, edit and organize them, and export them. Transcription runs on your device using a bundled AI model. We do not send your recordings or transcript text to our servers or to RevenueCat for transcription.

Recordings, imported audio, transcripts, and folders are stored in the App’s local storage on your device. Your device’s backup settings may affect whether app data is included in an Apple backup. If you choose to export or share content, the destination you select may receive it and handle it under its own privacy practices.

Information used for purchases

The App does not require you to create an account. It uses Apple’s in-app purchase system and RevenueCat to display purchase options, process and restore purchases, and determine whether Pro access is active.

RevenueCat may process an automatically generated anonymous App User ID, purchase and subscription information, entitlement status, and technical information about the App and device. This information is used to provide and support purchase-related features. RevenueCat’s practices are described in its Privacy Policy.

Apple handles App Store billing and payment information under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Permissions and information you choose to provide

• Microphone: The App requests access when you choose to record audio.

• Files: The App accesses files you choose through the iOS file picker to import audio.

• Support messages: If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message and use it to respond.

The App does not use advertising SDKs or track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising.

Retention and deletion

You can delete individual content in the App. In Settings, you can also choose Delete all audio files or Delete all app data. The latter removes locally stored transcriptions, folders, and audio files from that device. Deleting the App removes its local app data from that device, subject to any copies you exported and any backups managed by Apple.

Deleting local app data or the App does not cancel an Apple subscription or automatically erase purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat. To manage a subscription, use your Apple Account’s subscription settings. To ask about information associated with a purchase or request help with a privacy request, contact us at anasapps08@gmail.com. We may need information sufficient to locate the relevant purchase record. Apple and RevenueCat may retain information as required for billing, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or their own retention policies.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through an App account or registration process.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App changes. We will post the revised policy at the same location and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
