About Us

Transcend is a Recognized Student Organization (RSO) at Texas A&M University (TAMU). We are dedicated to providing community and resources to trans and nonbinary individuals in the area. We do this through weekly meetings that vary between informational and social meetings.

After TAMU decided to stop offering HRT to students through the on-campus health center (Beutel), the officers of Transcend immediately looked into other alternatives. They quickly realized all other options had long wait lists/were significantly more expensive. The officers then decided to start the HRT fund, to help members be able to afford HRT, despite the increased costs.

This fund relies on external support/donations of other trans people and allies so thank you to all who choose to support.
