Stage 1: Sant Elm (Kayak, 12km)

The stunning Tramuntana mountain range begins at Sa Dragonera, an aptly named island situated off Sant Elm. A fitting starting point for the Tramuntathlon, the kayakers will circumnavigate the sleeping reptile. Paddlers may be tested by the sea conditions, but will be under the watchful eyes of the support boats as they make their way back to the safely of the beach.  Click here for GPX Maps and GOOGLE Maps

Stage 2: Sant Elm - Sóller (Cycle, 67km)

Travelling up the MA-10, the cyclists will take in some of the most extraordinary scenery Mallorca has to offer. Passing through the villages of S`Arracó,  Andratx, Estellencs, Banyalbufar and Deiá will break up the constant ups and downs of the mountain road. With 1400m of climbing, the legs will be fully tested, but it will be very much worth it!!

Stage 3: Sóller - Alaró (Run, 20km)

Leaving Sóller, the runners will pass through Biniaraix on their way up the Barranc, destination Embalse de Cuber. Once over the dam, they will follow the pipeline down through four tunnels - a head lamp will be needed to get through the tunnels safely! From there it is all downhill until reaching the outskirts of Alaró. 850m of climbing will test the quads and lungs...

Stage 4: Alaró - Puigpuñent (Cycle, 45km)

With over half of the Tramuntathlon completed, it’s time to begin the trek “home”. Climbing to Orient and continuing through Bunyola, the next village visited will be Esporles. A demanding up and over Coll des Grau, delivers the cyclists to Puigpunyent. The 800m of climbing will remind riders that Mallorca is anything but flat!

Stage 5: Puigpuñent - Es Capdellà (Run, 11km)

Nearly there! Leaving Puigpunyent, runners enter La Reserva and LJs Ratxó. Next stop will be the Finca Galatzó before the final push to Sa Vinya Bar and Restaurant in Es Capdellà for well-earned refreshments. With “only” 230m of climbing, it could be seen as the easiest of the stages, but depending on how many hours the athletes have been on the go, if might even be the hardest!

Kids Fun Run: Galatzo Car Park - Es Capdellá (Run, 3.5km)

This is one of our most rewarding stages. Supported & guided by members of XTREM Calviá Triatlo, children under the age of 18 are invited to participate in the Fun Run.  They will set off after the first Tramuntathletes reach the car park, joining in with the excitement of sharing the course and crossing the finish line to a hero's welcome as part of the main race. This could be start of a new adventure into the world of Triathlons for them!! Participantes to meet at the Galatzo Car Park at 4:30 for a 5:00pm start!
