The 2016 final rule that reinstates the 24-month STEM OPT regulations increases the educational benefits that F-1 students receive from their practical training experiences by requiring the submission of a formal training plan.

The STEM OPT student is responsible for conducting an annual self-evaluation based on their own progress. The student must submit the first assessment within 12 months of the STEM OPT start date, and a second, final assessment that recaps the training and knowledge acquired during the complete training period.

Since last week, the training plan does not advance me. I had previously worked with ftp build and everything was correct. With build me up I finish the training, it updates me strava, but when zwift starts the next day it keeps letting me choose the type of training plan.

This morning I tried to uninstall and install zwift again on PC

Zwift still does not work. It does not store and does not update the training progresses. I have installed the program from scratch, deleted both Zwift Companion and the results saved on strava. Everything useless. Then I tried to force manually the procedure, but this one was unsuccessful as well. Do you have any other solutions to try?

I do exactly the same when I finish my session. I can see the summary (time - watts - distance - etc.). Uploading in progress. Strava shows the result. Zwift Companion also shows the activity. But the workout does not appear completed in the training plan.

Having the same problem with the same plan (Build me up plan). When I finished the workout, I continued to ride a bit to cool down, after the results screen appeared. The training was " Build Me Up - Mishmash". It shows completed here though:


I really like the calendar /plans & use it daily, could get even more out of it with the features mentioned above integrated.

I was actually hoping that The Sufferfest and TrainingPeaks would do a merger. Each of the two products complements the other very nicely. Now that Wahoo is merging with The Sufferfest, it only makes the idea even more attractive. Right now, you have the amazing training plans and workouts of Suf and the best riding tech all under one roof. Add the unparalleled journaling, metrics and yearly planning of TrainingPeaks, and you would have a complete ecosystem. Surely, some sort of deal could be worked out.

Training Peaks is my master for both SUF and outdoor rides. Would be nice to export into TP. However, I have access to the SUF workouts in TP and I have fun replicating my SUF plan and tweaking it to accommodate extra volume and trips away from home. The workouts in TP need a refresh (couple of missing and old TSS) but this is minor.

Working through my current plan, with changes like making room for the STEP UP challenge this weekend, I would second greater functionality in the SUFF calendar. Specifically (in this instance), I would like to be able to be able to make individual changes to a plan, say drag-and-drop to change a day, or swap out an individual workout on a day.

*** When I am logged into Garmin Connect (app or laptop/PC), there does not appear to be any way to move a past OR future Training Plan workout (no "grab dots" on the session bar). SUPER INCONVENIENT. I understand that when you're on a "plan" the coach wants you to stick to the workouts as prescribed, but that is not always possible in the real world. ***

- Resume the training plan on the app or laptop/PC on the day after your manual training session. If that is a rest day on your plan, then you will have to manually create the 2nd "missed" session from the day before if one was scheduled. (If you resume the training plan on the same day as the manual session and a different training session was planned for that same day, you won't be able to move that one either. Nobody will stop you from doing 2 session in one day but many of us won't do that.)

I have re-created a few Training Plan sessions like this and named them the same workout name as in the training plan so that if I have to reuse it in the future for a missed session, it's then easier to add the correct manual session to the calendar For instance, instead of saving a manual session as "Run" change the name to "Speed repeats - manual." These created sessions are saved in Training & Planning / Workouts / My Workouts for future use. As training progresses and time/speed/etc. are added to the sessions, it's easy to edit the manually created sessions to keep up with the plan if you miss sessions.

GARMIN - would it be difficult to add a "Date" data field to ANY session (training plan, manually created, etc.) that you could manually change in the Edit mode and it will move the session on your calendar? I'm not a programmer, but that seems like it would be a very simple work-around for this problem that a lot of people seem to encounter.

If you move around the workouts sometimes the workouts will be rearranged since the plan is adapting. I moved a workout to a day that already had a planned workout which made the previous workout to be removed. My plan was to switch places between them, but the coach was faster than me :-)

Very helpful, thank you! But if it is a missed workout that does not appear as an option I've even tried pausing and resuming the training plan on the same day just out of curiosity, and it just skips the workout for that day even though there's plenty of time left to get it done. I'm going to have to be more mindful to make schedule changes earlier but sometimes it's not possible. I really appreciate the assist!
