Storytelling
Teaching is storytelling.
Stories are what bring us together.
Helping learners to develop their own stories - that is teaching.
Listening
I do my best work when I listen to others needs.
I do even better work when I listen for missing voices.
Technology
Technology is not separate from everything else.
It is never the goal in a classroom.
It is best used for sharing our stories.
Learning
Learning evolves.
As a teacher, I still learn.Β
My most important job is to care about my students enough to allow learning to happen the way they need it to.
