Track It! - Terms of Service

The short version: Track It! AP Suite is a standards-based grade tracker for AP students and teachers, available as a one-time paid purchase. Track It! Connect is a companion product, free to download, that lets teachers create classes and invite students with a code — with optional paid tiers (Basic, Standard, and Ultimate) that unlock additional classes, standards customization, and score editing. Use both responsibly, don't misuse them, and enjoy tracking your progress toward that 5!

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using any Track It! AP Chrome extension, the Track It! AP Suite mobile app, or Track It! Connect ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including students, teachers, and any other individuals who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Track It! AP is a standards-based grade tracking tool designed for AP (Advanced Placement) courses. The Service allows users to:

Score academic standards on a 0–3 scale
Track progress across AP course units
Calculate estimated grades and AP exam scores
Create progress checks and save snapshots
Export grade reports

Track It! Connect is a companion product that additionally allows:

• Teachers to create classes and generate a join code for their students

• Students to join a class using that code, without creating an account

• Teachers to view their students' progress on standards

• Teachers to customize (rename, hide, or reword) standards for their own classes

• Optional paid tiers (Connect Basic, Connect Standard, and Connect Ultimate) that unlock additional classes, additional customization, score editing, and — at the Ultimate tier — the ability to grant a student temporary Educator-mode access ("TA Access")

Track It! AP and Track It! Connect are independent products and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by College Board, AP, or any school or educational institution.

3. Accounts

Track It! AP Suite (the Chrome extensions and mobile app) does not require an account for its core functionality.

Track It! Connect requires teachers to create an account (email and password) to create and manage classes. Students do not create an account to join a class — they enter a display name and their teacher's class code. Because students do not have an account, a student's access to a joined class is tied to their specific device; if a student loses access to their device, they would need to rejoin using the class code.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Track It! Connect teacher account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Beta Access Program

During the beta period, users may sign in with Google to claim free lifetime access. By participating in the Beta Access Program, you agree to:

Provide honest feedback to help improve the Service
Allow CRL Enterprises LLC to contact you via email regarding product updates
Understand that beta features may change or be removed

CRL Enterprises LLC reserves the right to end the beta program and transition to a paid model at any time, with reasonable notice to beta users.

5. Paid Features (Track It! Connect)

Certain Track It! Connect features — additional classes beyond the free tier, standards customization beyond the free tier, score editing, and TA Access — require redeeming a code obtained through purchase or through a promotional/beta grant.

• Codes are tied to a specific course or subject suite, as described at the time of purchase. A code does not grant access to courses or suites outside what it specifies.

• Unless obtained as part of a promotional or beta grant (which may be permanent), a redeemed code grants access for one year from the date of redemption. Access does not automatically renew; a new code is required to continue paid access after expiration.

• Codes are single-use and, once redeemed, are non-transferable to another teacher account.

• All purchases are final. Because a code unlocks access immediately upon redemption, we do not offer refunds once a code has been redeemed, except where required by law.

• CRL Enterprises LLC reserves the right to change pricing for future code purchases at any time. Changes to pricing do not affect access already granted by a previously redeemed code.

6. TA Access

Track It! Connect's Ultimate tier allows a teacher to generate a reusable code that grants Educator-mode access to any student who enters it ("TA Access"). By generating and distributing a TA Access code, the teacher:

• Takes responsibility for who they share the code with, and for any use of Educator-mode features by a student using TA Access

• Understands that TA Access is a broad grant — anyone who obtains the code, including a student it was not intended for, can use it to unlock Educator mode

• May revoke a TA Access code at any time, which removes access for anyone currently using it

CRL Enterprises LLC is not responsible for a teacher's distribution of a TA Access code or for actions taken by a student using TA Access obtained through that code.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Service
Use the Service to misrepresent academic grades to teachers, institutions, or others
Share your Track It! Connect teacher account credentials, or any Beta Access credentials, with others
Share, sell, or redistribute a Connect redemption code you did not generate or purchase for your own use
Enter false, misleading, or impersonating information as a student display name
• Attempt to circumvent any security, access, or payment controls

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding associated with Track It! AP — including the Track It! name, shield logo, and lime green design system — are the exclusive property of CRL Enterprises LLC and are protected by copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission from CRL Enterprises LLC.

9. Educational Data & Accuracy

Track It! AP and Track It! Connect are personal and classroom tracking tools only. Grade calculations and AP score predictions are estimates based on user-entered data and are not official grades. CRL Enterprises LLC makes no guarantees about the accuracy of grade calculations or their correlation to actual AP exam scores or official course grades.

In Track It! Connect, a teacher may view and, at applicable paid tiers, edit a student's recorded scores. CRL Enterprises LLC is not responsible for the accuracy of scores entered or edited by a teacher, or for any dispute between a teacher and student regarding recorded scores.

Do not use Track It! AP or Track It! Connect as a substitute for official grade records provided by the College Board, your school, or your teacher.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices, including how Track It! Connect handles teacher and student data differently from Track It! AP Suite.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. CRL Enterprises LLC does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CRL Enterprises LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data.

12. Changes to Terms

CRL Enterprises LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email (for signed-in users) or through the Chrome Web Store listing. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

CRL Enterprises LLC reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Termination of a Track It! Connect account does not entitle the user to a refund for previously redeemed codes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
