The short version: Track It! stores your grades locally on your device. If you choose to sign in with Google for Beta Access, we collect only your name and email address — solely to provide lifetime access (limited time) for helping us improve our service based on your comments and input and product updates. We never sell your data!

2. What Data We Collect

A. Grade & Standards Data (Local Only)

All grade tracking data — your scores, weights, progress checks, and snapshots — is stored exclusively on your device using Chrome's local storage. This data never leaves your browser and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

B. Beta Access Sign-In (Optional)

If you voluntarily choose to sign in with Google to claim Beta Access, we collect:

Email address — to identify your account and send product updates
Display name — to personalize your experience
Sign-in timestamp — to record when you registered
Which extension you signed in from — to understand usage patterns

This information is stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to CRL Enterprises LLC.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your email and name solely to:

Confirm your lifetime Beta Access status for helping us improve
Send you product updates, new feature announcements, and feedback requests
Respond to support requests you initiate

We NEVER:

Sell your personal information to any third party
Share your data with advertisers
Use your data for any purpose other than those listed above

4. Google Sign-In & OAuth

When you sign in with Google, we request access only to your email address and basic profile information (name and profile picture). We do not access your Google Contacts, Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google services.

Your sign-in is handled through Google's secure OAuth 2.0 system. We never see or store your Google password.

5. Data Storage & Security

Beta user registration data is stored in a private Google Sheet secured by Google's infrastructure. Access is restricted to authorized CRL Enterprises LLC personnel only.

Your local grade data is stored in Chrome's chrome.storage.local — it is sandboxed to the extension and inaccessible to websites or other extensions.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Access: You may request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your Beta Access registration at any time by emailing us.
Opt-out: You can unsubscribe from product update emails at any time.
Sign out: You can sign out of Beta Access in the extension's Settings tab at any time. This removes your data from local storage.

7. Children's Privacy

Track It! AP is designed for high school students (typically ages 14–18) and their teachers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Beta Access users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
