This Privacy Policy explains how the Tracker Detector app ("the app", "we") handles information. The app is published by Yildirim. Contact: hdytyldrm@hdytyldrm.info
Bluetooth scans are processed on your phone. We never upload the devices you scan.
The app does not keep a location history. For background protection, only your last position is kept on your phone to measure distance, and it is overwritten at every check.
No account is required. We do not sell your personal data.
The app uses Google services for ads, analytics, crash reports and in-app purchases, as described below.
Bluetooth scan results. To find and detect trackers, the app scans for nearby Bluetooth devices and reads their broadcast data (for example device type, signal strength and temporary Bluetooth addresses). This data is used on your phone to show nearby devices, the radar and alerts.
Background protection (optional). If you turn on background protection, the app checks for trackers about every 15 minutes. To decide whether an unknown tracker is moving with you, it stores on your phone:
sightings of nearby trackers (type, temporary address, time and signal), kept for up to 7 days;
a short list of recent checks (up to 100);
your last known position only, used to calculate the distance a tracker has travelled with you. It is replaced at every check. No location history or map is kept.
Turning off background protection deletes this data. You can also clear the check history in the app.
My devices. Devices you mark as yours are stored on your phone until you remove them.
Playing a sound on a tracker. When you tap "Play sound", the app connects briefly to the tracker over Bluetooth and sends the standard play-sound command. No data from the tracker is stored.
None of the information in this section is sent to us or to third parties. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

Location: Android requires location permission for Bluetooth scanning. Background location is requested only if you turn on background protection, so the app can scan and measure distance while it is closed.
Notifications: to alert you when an unknown tracker seems to be moving with you.
You can change these permissions at any time in Android settings.
The app uses the following Google services. They may collect information as described in their own policies.
Google AdMob (ads). Shows ads in the free version. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address and ad interaction data. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown; you can change your choice in the app under Settings → Privacy options.
Firebase Analytics. Collects anonymous usage events (for example that a scan was started or a feature was used) to improve the app. Scan contents, device addresses, device names and your location are never included.
Firebase Crashlytics. Collects crash reports (device model, Android version, technical details of the crash) to fix errors.
Google Play Billing. Handles the one-time Pro purchase. Payment details are processed by Google; we do not receive them.
Google Play In-App Review. May show Google's rating dialog.

Processing on your device is necessary to provide the features you use. Ads personalization and analytics in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the app. Crash reporting is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the app working.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Because the app does not keep your data on our servers, most data can be deleted directly in the app or by uninstalling it. For data held by Google services, see Google's privacy tools. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Data processed by the app stays on your phone and is protected by Android's app storage. No method is 100% secure, but we do not transmit your scan or location data.
We may update this policy. The new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
