The Turning Point USA at Pennridge chapter is planning on holding most of its meetings during RAMS Activity Time, with meetings falling between once or twice a month. When we have meetings after school, we'll notify you via email and our various social media platforms a week before. Meetings will take shape in different ways: Some days, we'll have a presentation about a specific topic which we'll deliver to all those present. Other times, we'll have open discussions on big issues which will effect the student body after graduation (like the national debt, the student loan crisis, border security, and other issues as suggested). We've also developed good relations with both the Young Republican Club and the Democrats of Pennsylvania Club here at Pennridge, and we plan on holding collaborative meetings and discussions. On days where these events finish before RAMS period ends, we encourage all those present to talk to their peers and socialize with their fellow members.
Most of our meetings will be during RAMS activity days, with very few being held after school (This is subject to change as the schedule of our faculty adviser becomes more clear). As of right now, all meetings will be held during RAMS activity time and all events will take place after school, or possibly during weekends. If a meeting ever takes place after school, this decision will be made days before the meeting is set to take place. You will be notified through email.
You'll have lots of fun attending Turning Point USA at Pennridge's unique and unmatched events! We have so many great ideas, but many of our ideas require a certain amount of attendees. So be sure to tell all your friends about our club!
