Two in-person workshops will be offered in 2026 where we will welcome a total of 60 participants. The workshops are two-days long. The workshops will focus on inquiry-based pedagogical strategies for teaching with primary sources. Teachers will leave with a better understanding of how to find primary sources and how to use them.
Deepen your understanding for using historical evidence in the classroom. These strategies are engaging and positions students to deepen their critical thinking skills while practicing argumentation with claim, evidence, and reasoning. Each participant will receive a stipend for their participation. Three participants from the workshops will be recruited to be a TPS-UCM coach.

Participants will come from diverse areas around the region and will represent a varied amount of experiences, grade levels and congressional districts.
Workshops will be held in two different locations/dates. All workshops will run from 8:00am-2:30pm.
