US State and Federal Government
- Policies adopted at the state and federal level may directly affect the performance of some, or all, companies such as taxation, regulations, tariffs, and more.
- The performance of TPON businesses will in turn affect the performance of the United States economy, which updates to the state of the economy will be done every other week.
- State government economies will not be recorded due to the amount of state governments we would need to keep track of (50), the Department can only do so much.
- As we are just starting out, only the United States economy will be looked at and stats decided for the United States economy. Stats for foreign nations will continue to be decided by the TPON Stats Department.
If you have already registered a company, congratulations! Below is how to participate in the US/TPON economy.
- All announcements must be on your company’s Instagram page, and you must tag the TPON Economy page. The Secretary or Deputy in the comments will tell you if the company decision has been approved or disapproved of.
- Announcements include: how much you will invest in your company to start off; how many employees you have; how many employees you dismiss; how many employees you hire; employee salaries; purchasing of materials; purchasing of properties; a change in how many shares you will have available; advertisements for your products/services; descriptions of all different types of products/services including any new ones; a deal reached with another company (proof required); a deal reached with a state government (proof required); a deal reached with the US government (proof required); expansion of business to another state; buying back shares; request for bankruptcy; unregistering the company/quitting.
- All announcements made by your company will be either approved of or disapproved of in the comments of that post. A reason for disapproval is that your company may not have the funds or means to acquire what it is you announce. If a decision of a company is approved, the decision will be evaluated and will determine how it will affect your company’s performance. For example, if you announce an attractive product as evaluated by the Secretary, your company will perform better. If you release a racist advertisement, upon evaluation of the Secretary, this may negatively impact your company’s performance.
- Federal and state government decisions can affect the performance of your company. For example, higher corporate taxes may cause your company to lose some of its assets and value. If you are a drilling company, and do business in Alaska, but Alaska then bans oil drilling, your company will be negatively impacted.
- The performance of your company will be recorded in the following link: tinyurl.com/tponstockmarket. There you can find how much a share is worth, your assets, liabilities, shares sold/available, and much more.
- Companies that go inactive, not posting anything in over a week, will be discontinued from participating in the economy. You may re-register it.
