TPMG Napa Solano Area Emergency Physicians cover two hospitals in Northern California. Our two Emergency Departments service a combined 120,000+ visits per year, Vacaville a Level II Trauma Center and Vallejo a Stroke Center.  Our facilities continue to set the standard for excellence in Emergency Medicine. The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) Napa Solano Area Emergency Medicine is a democratic, culturally-diverse, physician-led cohort.  Our group of fifty doctors is 40% women, exceeding the Emergency Medicine national average. We have an equitable distribution of shifts, where nights, weekends and holidays are shared by all career physicians.

We offer a $400,000 base salary for full-time physicians with benefits like malpractice and health care coverage "baked in" for a total annual compensation package equaling more than $530,000. Additional benefits worth highlighting include paid holidays and educational leave, a generous annual continuing education allowance of $5,000, a wellness bonus and a substantial forgivable home loan when you sign on.

​In 2013, Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center was distinguished with Level II Trauma status by the Solano County Emergency Medical Services Agency and the American College of Surgeons. In 2015, the center won the, "Get With The Guidelines - Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award", and in 2017 it was named a "top 25" hospital in environmental excellence.

Since 2012, Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center has been a STEMI Receiving Center with a 24/7 cath lab and currently offers an Acute Stroke Specialty Program within its world-renowned rehabilitation center. In 2023, Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center received the American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet Recognition, considered the gold standard for nursing excellence.

Both emergency departments boast robust hospitalist and specialty support, including Social Work, Psychiatry, Substance Abuse Navigation, and outpatient Addiction Medicine, that free up physicians to attend to the most acute needs while expediting care for all of our patients.

TPMG Napa Solano Emegency Physicians work in hospitals located in Vallejo and Vacaville. Vallejo is the most culturally-diverse city in California, nestled along the shore of San Pablo Bay and adjoining historic Mare Island. Vacaville is a rapidly growing family-friendly city steeped in orchards and agriculture close to Travis Air Force Base and the University of California, Davis.
