Why did our venue change in the first place?

We received a call from Lake Dallas High School on the Monday of Spring Break that they had scheduled structural repair on the auditorium despite having a signed contract with our dates booked since September 2018. Any events scheduled after April 1st including all school events were displaced.

Why are we driving all the way to Frisco?

Believe me when I tell you that finding an available school theatre in the month of May is no small feat due to end of year school events (band, orchestra, choir, dance, theatre, etc.) We are grateful and blessed to have found such a lovely facility that was able to accommodate us.

School districts contacted: Argyle, Carrollton/Farmers Branch, Coppell, Denton, Grapevine/Colleyville, Irving, Krum, Lewisville, Little Elm, Northwest, Plano, Ponder, Prosper, Southlake, The Colony.

College & Professional Theatres contacted: Brookhaven Community, Collin County Community, TWU, UNT, Eissmann, Irving Arts Center, Majestic, MCL Grand, Moody.

Every single district or theatre listed above was a "no, sorry, we are booked."

Why are we only doing one day of Dress Rehearsal?

Wednesday and Saturday was all the school had available, so we are making the best of it.

Why didn't you just change the dates?

I felt it was incredibly important to keep the dates as originally scheduled. Everyone's schedule is so tightly booked these days that I didn't want to risk having someone miss out on the fun due to a date change.

Why didn't you tell us sooner?

I preferred to solve the problem and present my solution rather than worrying 360+ dance families about what we were going to do. As the proud owner of this amazing studio, I am happy to put out fires and solve problems so you don't have to. :)

I know that change is difficult, especially for me, but I am confident our shows will be beautiful as always. You wanna know how I know? Because your children will be in them. It's going to be a performance to SHINE OUT LOUD for sure!
