New Vehicle plans can be purchased anytime within 3 years and 36,000 miles of the vehicle's warranty start date (the date the vehicle was delivered to its original owner). Surcharges may apply after 1 year or 12,000 miles. Certified Pre-Owned plans can be purchased on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, FIAT or Alfa Romeo vehicles with an active, Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty and an odometer that reads less than 75,000 miles. The rate plans help you meet your EV charging needs, while keeping fuel costs lower than gasoline or diesel alternatives. Both plans combine a customizable monthly subscription charge with a time-of-use rate to help you save money.

These rate plans are specifically designed for customers with separately metered EV charging at locations such as workplaces, multi-unit dwellings, and retail as well as sites with fleets and public fast charging stations.

The owner or operator shall complete the application for plans review of the operation. The application must be as complete as possible in order to provide an accurate description of your operation to the reviewer to ensure that the requirements are met. All supporting documents must be provided at the time of application.

The review of the submitted plans must be completed so a written response can be provided within 10 to 15 business days after submission. If the plans and other supporting documents are within the regulations, and a building permit was applied for, the reviewer will sign-off for the Department of Health portion of the permit to allow for construction or renovations.

The Federal Highway Administration approved the state plans for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure deployment linked in the table below. Today, the Biden-Harris Administration is announcing a set of concrete actions to address the expansion of trucking. These actions will support the ongoing economic recovery and lay the foundation for a next generation trucking workforce that will strengthen U.S. competitiveness and support millions of good driving jobs for years to come.

In 2021, on average, more than 50,000 CDLs and Learners Permits have been issued each month, which is 20% higher than the 2019 monthly average and 72% higher than the 2020 monthly average. In fact, by the end of October 2021, states had issued more licenses and permits than in all of 2019. While backlogs and delays exist in some States, they can be cleared by using proven strategies. For example, using these tools this past summer, New York reduced testing delays by 37%. California recently expanded hours and locations and increased the number of personnel who can administer the road test. North Carolina increased the availability of testing appointments, and Texas has expanded hours, testing capacity, and shifted much of the process online. There is more work to do, and FMCSA is using the levers of government to make it easier for truck drivers to get their CDLs, while also taking actions to address retention issues.

Like in Europe, the lack of a publicly available, nationwide electric charging infrastructure for commercial vehicles in the US, especially for long-haul freight operations, remains one of the biggest barriers for widespread deployment of electric trucks. With formation of this JV, the three parties will be pooling their resources to address this challenge. The parties plan to build a network of charging sites on critical freight routes along the east and west coasts and in Texas by 2026, leveraging existing infrastructure and amenities while adding complementary greenfield sites to fulfill anticipated customer demand. Initial focus will be on charging stations for battery electric medium- and heavy-duty vehicles followed by hydrogen fueling stations for fuel cell trucks. The sites will also be available for light-duty vehicles to serve the greater goal of electrifying mobility.
