Maintenance of Personal Property: As owners of Fee Simple townhouses the integrity and beauty of every unit is the responsibility of each owner. This includes all structural and decorative elements of their unit. Roof, framing, siding, porches, chimneys, doors, and windows, as well as all insurance and termite bonds are the responsibility of the individual homeowner. If you have any complaints or concerns about a property please download the Complaints-Concern-Grievance Form, found under Governing Documents.
Inspections: Each year the Architectural officer will conduct an annual building inspection of the private and commonly held properties on Townpark Lane. That official will contact owners whose units are in need of improvements. Notices of compliance for needed repairs will be made by the Board of Directors on a regular basis.
(A blank review form, the Lakeside Architectural Checklist used by the property review committee, and a guidelines sheet that should help residents find the materials necessary for their home improvements).
Additions/Changes to Your Homes:
All plans for additions, improvements, or alterations to the exiting structures must be approved by the Board of Directors of the Lakeside Homeowner’s Association.
Detailed drawings of the proposed changes along with written permission for the changes are to be presented for Board approval at their monthly meeting.
Following Board approval the plans must be posted at the Mailbox Gazebo for 30 days for community response. Barring no objections the changes may then proceed.
