Assessor

The Office of the Assessor is responsible for annually preparing a list of all-taxable and exempt property located within the Town of Redding. This list is called the Grand List and is comprised of all Real Estate, Motor Vehicles, and Business Personal Property.

Annual Revenues derived from the taxes assessed on real property fund the operations of Town Government and Schools.

The Assessor's budget for FY 23 is $194,459, a decrease of -2.10%.
