Culvert Policy:
For a driveway entering a township road, the applicable landowner is responsible for the installation and maintenance of culverts passing under said driveway, except in the following two cases:
the township road foreman directs ditching or road work which renders the installed culvert(s) under said driveway ineffective. The township will repair or replace such culvert(s) at township expense.
the township establishes an easement with the landowner for a turnaround, where the easement includes the area of said driveway under which one or more culverts are located. The township takes responsibility for the maintenance of such culvert(s).
