Notice to Residents and Property Owner in the Town of Lakewood

Notice is hereby given to the Residents of Lakewood Township that the Public Accuracy Testing of the DS200 and the OmniBallot Voting System will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lakewood Town Hall, 3110 Strand Road, Duluth MN 55803. This equipment will be used at the Duluth School District election on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

Town of Lakewood Meeting Rules

 The Town of Lakewood Board of Supervisors, Planning & Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustment appreciates hearing from citizens about items of concern and desires to set aside time during each meeting for your comments.  To provide ample opportunity for all, speaking time is limited to three (3) minutes total for anyone wishing to present public comment.

The following process will be observed:

1. Wait to be recognized before speaking.

2. Direct comments to the Town Board.

3. Please no clapping or speaking out of turn.

4. Please avoid personal attacks and derogatory statements.

5. Comments should focus on your topic presented.

6. Comments should not be repetitive of others however, additional comments welcome.

7. Each person is allowed to speak once unless the Town Board allows a second round of comments.
