Shoreline and Upland Design Guidelines

As part of the Town's Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Update, Esopus is considering design guidelines for commercial, hospitality/resort, residential and other uses in certain areas of the Town.

This Visual Preference Survey will allow the Town to evaluate the community's preferences related to building architecture, size, density, colors, character and surrounding streetscapes. Please rate each image based on your preferences of what you would consider appropriate for each type of use and location. The final results will reveal a desired community image (the positively-ranked images) and what should be avoided (the negatively-ranked images). The desired elements will be translated into specific design guidelines to reflect the Town of Esopus' vision for the future.
