Purpose & Process:
This dance film emerged as part of a final major project studying MA Creative Practice at Leeds Arts University. After several months of experimenting, organising and editing, the final iteration has been realised. The movement was largely improvisation based, and asked the dancers to respond to both the environment and each other.
Synopsis:
Follow the girl on a journey as she navigates what it is to move in a world where showing up for a 9-5 job is the priority. People no longer notice the beauty in their surroundings and remain in a constant march to their destinations. What if we danced through life and took a moment to appreciate the world around us?
