1) Who we are
These Terms govern your use of the TOVO mobile app (the “App”). TOVO SKN is a personally built project operated by an individual, Hassan Laws. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2) Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country).
You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for safeguarding your device and login.
You agree that we may contact you at your registered email for service, safety, or policy updates.
3) Service description
TOVO helps riders view minibus information (e.g., routes, approximate locations) and helps drivers share location while “Live.” Availability, accuracy, and coverage can vary; real-world conditions, GPS accuracy, and driver participation affect what you see.
4) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Harass, stalk, or abuse riders or drivers.
Create multiple or fake accounts, or misrepresent your identity.
Scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App or its services.
Circumvent safety features or attempt unauthorized access.
Use the App for any illegal purpose.
We may investigate and take action—including suspension or termination—if we believe your use violates these Terms or creates risk.
5) Approvals & enforcement
We may require manual approval for certain accounts (e.g., driver or rider approvals) and may suspend or deactivate accounts that violate policies, involve fraud/abuse, create safety risks, or interfere with the service. When practical, we’ll notify you at your account email with a brief reason and how to appeal at tovoskn@gmail.com. We may retain limited information after deactivation as needed for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance (see Privacy Policy).
6) Safety & location
Drivers: if you go “Live,” the App may collect your background location to display your bus to riders. Go offline to stop sharing.
Riders: the App may request device location to show nearby buses. You can disable this in device settings, though features may be limited.
Never rely solely on the App for safety or timing. Use judgment and local guidance.
7) In-app content, ads & third parties
The App may display banners or links to third parties (e.g., advertisers, map providers). We don’t control third-party sites or services and aren’t responsible for their content or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and may be governed by their terms and privacy policies.
8) Intellectual property
The App (including logos, UI, and code) is owned by Hassan Laws and/or licensors. You’re granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
9) Changes & updates
We may update the App or these Terms. We’ll post changes in-app or on our policy page and update the Effective date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
10) Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties (express or implied) regarding accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Transit positions/routes may be approximate.
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we (and our providers) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed USD $100.
12) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hassan Lawsfrom claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13) Governing law & disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Saint Kitts & Nevis, without regard to conflicts of law. Courts located in Saint Kitts & Nevis shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
