Itálica is an old roman city which is located in Santiponce, Seville. This was the first roman city founded in Spain in the year 206 b.C, even though there are evidences that suggest that it could had been occupied years ago by other civilizations.
Among the most reasonable remains that are able to visit the old houses are frequently the most visited. This houses were occupied by rich families with a good social position. The houses were built following the traditional hellenistic esthetics although there are the typical “andalusian patio”.
