Privacy Policy for Tottle

Last updated: 21 July 2026

The short version: Tottle does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Everything you and your child do in the app — profiles, names, and learning progress — stays on your device. There are no ads and no tracking.

Tottle ("the app", "we", "us") is an early-learning app made by Meadowlight Studios (Sydney, Australia) for children aged approximately 1–3, used together with a parent or guardian. We built Tottle to be calm, ad-free, and private by design. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. Tottle has no accounts, no sign-in, and no server that receives your data. We — the developer — never see your child's name, progress, or usage.

Information stored on your device

To make the app work, some information is saved locally on your device only and is never sent anywhere:

This information stays on the device. It is removed when you delete a profile in the parent dashboard, tap "Delete all profiles", or uninstall the app.

No ads, analytics, or tracking

Tottle contains no third-party advertising, no analytics or measurement SDKs, no crash-reporting services, and no tracking of any kind. We do not build profiles of users and we do not use data for advertising.

In-app purchases

Tottle is free to use and offers optional paid expansion packs. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play using Google's billing system. We never receive or store your payment details. Google's handling of purchase information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). In-app purchases are gated behind a parent check so children cannot buy on their own.

Permissions

The app requests network (internet) access solely to enable Google Play purchases and to verify what has been purchased. It is not used to collect or transmit personal information.

Children's privacy

Tottle is intended for young children used under adult supervision. Consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK GDPR, and Google Play's Families policy, the app does not knowingly collect personal information from children (or anyone). Because no data leaves the device, there is nothing for us to access, use, or disclose.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information, because we do not collect any. The only third party involved is Google Play, and only for processing purchases you choose to make.

Your choices & control

You are fully in control of on-device data: edit or delete individual profiles, use "Delete all profiles" in the parent dashboard, or uninstall the app to remove everything.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
