In 2009 Our friend Claude From Alsace, suffered a broken chassis while at the World Meeting in Most, Czech Republic. Fortunately Torbyn a trader from Denmark, was on site with a new chassis for sale. Borrowing tools from the onsite garage, we replaced the chassis in the camping field.
In 2008 Two lads came into the workshop looking for a car to take them to Mongolia on the Mongol Rally. It so happened that I had been given a car by a retiring vicar who appreciated all the work I had done over the years. As it was a charity run, I thought the vicar would be happy for me to donate the car to a good cause. So I then became involved in helping them get to the finishing line. Several messages followed giving advice as they hit a few problems along the way. 10,000+ miles later, they crossed the finishing line.
