There seems to be,and for some time in the past, been a lot of discussion about how difficult it can be to keep Zoom from blocking sounds you actually want to broadcast. This has had various degrees of impact even on music seen as background noise. Selecting "original sound " in the past, has helped a little but music has always been schetchy at best.

Ever since the last update the "original sound" setting has not only not worked but Zoom completely blocks anything that even sounds like music. you can stand at a microphone and talk and then begin singing i. the same microphone and the second you sing Zoom will totally block all sound even though it is the primary sound in the primary microphone that it was picking up perfectly a second before!

I am having the same issue. I teach dance classes and several weeks ago the music wouldn't play both from a mixer (microphone works but music doesn't) or even just using the microphone on the computer which just picks up the sound but not the music from a speaker playing loudly and positioned right in front of the microphone. This is a problem on four different computers two Windows 10 and two Windows 11 so I am not sure what else to do. I don't pay enough to get a phone call but have submitted a ticket. Has anyone found a resolution they could share for this problem? I depend on this to teach my classes!

I consulted a sound expert. He had me turn on original sound for musicians. You have to turn it on in your settings and then again click on original sound for musicians off in the top left hand corner and then it turns on. Very counter-intuitive but it works!

In last couple of days I had some issues with my pc due to which I had to reinstall my OS (Windows 10) and I did that several times and every time I reinstalled it I downloaded spotify and all my music (liked songs, 367 total) and all other apps that I use thinking that I solved the issue with my pc and that I'm good to go but unfortunately I was wrong. I did that several times until I finally solved the issue (SSD was the problem) and now when my pc is fixed I cant download my songs again because I reached some device limit and I cant go back and remove all the songs because they were on the same pc but they have got wiped out with the old OS. Is there any possible way for me to remove that old devices that are literally the same device but with other OS so I can download my songs again or can you somehow reset that on my account?

I don't know about the original poster, but I am having similar issues on my Mac. I only experience it on the Mac, not windows, roku, or android. Using the app vs chrome doesn't seem to fix the problem. Almost daily it just stops and starts buffering, and won't continue until I reload. My internet connection is solid and I don't have these issues with any other music streaming services.

I think it started happening after a windows update. My personal guess is that for some reason the song's won't download past a certain point, or their is an error in the code that makes my browsers think the song is totally downloaded when its not.

It is not the modem or any device in house... this happens in my office, in my home office, and on my phone. Stop trying to blame out hardware and do some real work to resolve.. I will cancel my subscription too if this isn't fixed. I am not paying for lousy music
