The Nike Mercurial Superfly 7's were one of my favorite cleats. I wore these my junior year, I got them the summer of 2021. The moment I found these cleats I fell in love, the colorway was something I've never seen before and I enjoyed the contrast. When I first started wearing them I found that they hurt my feet to the point where they'd have to be tied a specific way in order for it to not hurt. I talked to our athletic trainer and we laced them a different way and they instantly stopped hurting and made the break in process very easy. While breaking them in I never had an issue with blisters or my feet getting swollen, just the initial pain before re-lacing them. I play in the midfield which comes with a lot of direction changed, and your feet getting stepped on. I found that the back sock part of the cleat was a little frail on one of the cleats to the point I was worried I'd rip it off putting them on. Another issue occurred around the three-fourths mark of my season, they were starting to fall apart. Both front studs on these cleats started to fall off, slowly ripping away from the adhesive, while the back stud of my left cleat was nearly completely off. As a midfielder I was slightly worried getting them because the studs weren't connected through the bottom and I learned my lesson the hard way. Overall, I thought these were an amazing pair of cleats minus the obvious flaws I pointed out.

The Nike Zoom Mercurial Superfly 9, my current cleats and probably the best cleats I've owned. I got these cleats the summer of 2022 and absolutely loved the color and the pop the cleats with literally anything I wore. The nice vibrant yellow was something new for me and I really liked it. They helped a lot when watching film trying to find myself. The new speed technology in these cleats feel very real and they're insanely comfortable. The break in process was similar to the Nike Mercurial Superfly 7's but as soon as I felt that same pain I re-laced them and never had a problem after. After breaking them in they became one of the most comfortable cleats I've ever owned. I wear a 10.5M in Nike and they fit perfectly and molded to my foot and felt like I wasn't even wearing a cleat. The durability of these cleats have been great, I've had them a little longer than a season and the front lip is starting to clef from toe dragging, which is a bad habit of mine. These cleats are really well made and in my opinion worth the price for an elite pair of cleats.
