In a semester, Torrey Startup has over 10 innovation-based ideas developed, 2 provisional patents applied, 1 product in manufacturing, 1 product being prototyped, and over 7,000 dollars in funds to support projects, with a team of over 12 professional panelist advisors and 2 Patent/Trademark lawyers to aid projects.

Purpose

Torrey Startup is here to develop, grow, and empower students to think and create ideas, products, and innovations to empower the world, solve problems, and create a more efficient universe for humanity. The Startup team is here to build a business and design products with a professional board of entrepreneurs, connections, and tools to do so. The team ultimately hopes to inspire Country Day students and motivate them to take on the journey and challenges of entrepreneurship.
