From Yellow To Crystal Clear
Do your headlights have a foggy-hazy or outright yellow look to them? Maybe you've noticed your visibility at night or during rainy times is much lower? No worries, you don't have to replace them, nor do you have to open your lens (as many people think the haziness is from the inside of the lens. Most of the time it's not).
We don't use a generic headlight repair kit that you find at your local auto parts store. We go through a full 10-step sanding, compounding, polishing and protection process for better results.

1 - Sand With 800 Grit
This first step is where oxidation will be removed. You'll see a milk like slurry.
2 - Sand With 1000 Grit
As we move up the process, we remove less oxidation. The focus now is to refine sanding marks.
3 - Sand With 1500 Grit
You'll really start to see the difference in the clarity of the headlights.
4 - Sand With 2000 Grit
5 - Sand With 2,500 Grit
6 - Sand With 3000 Grit
7 - Sand With 5000 Grit
This is the final sanding step.
8 - Compound
We will compound the headlights to remove the sanding marks
9 - Polish
We'll then polish the headlights to reveal the maximum clarity (they will be crystal clear).
10 - Protect
We will apply a ceramic coating to protect the work and prevent future yellowing.

How long do ceramic coats last?
Ceramic coatings are very durable. They are the most durable form of protection in the market. We apply a 3-year coating to our headlights.
Can I drive my car right after?
No, please allow at least 4 hours of curing time before driving your vehicle. Ceramic coatings take up to 2 weeks to fully cure, but you can still drive your car.
Can I wash my car right after?
No, please do not wash your car for at least a week. This is to ensure that the ceramic coating properly sets.
What if it rains?
No worries, after the first initial 4 hours, it can be rained on. We apply a reload, essentially a protectant for the ceramic coating, which lasts a few months. This will protect the ceramic coating from rain as its curing.
How long does this service take?
It takes 3 hours on our part, and 4 hours of curing time.
Do I come to you?
We are a mobile detailing business, meaning we go to your home, apartment or office.
