Anaswara Rajan made her acting debut in a supporting role in the 2017 Malayalam movie Udaharanam Sujatha.  She became well-known for playing the lead in the hugely successful 2019 film Thanneer Mathan Dinangal.  After reviews praised her portrayal of Keerthy, she became a potential performer in the Malayalam cinema industry.

She will also be in the upcoming movies Aviyal, Raangi, and Vaanku.  Her first television appearance was on "D5 Junior" in 2019.  She starred in the 2015 short film Globe.  Over the course of her brief career in Indian cinema, Anaswara Rajan has won several notable acting accolades.  She and Mathew Thomas took home the "Best Pair" prize at the 22nd annual Asianet Film Awards 2020.

Anaswara's career has broadened outside Malayalam films; she debuted in Tamil cinema with Raangi in 2022 and Hindi cinema with Yaariyan 2 in 2018.  Her performances in Pranaya Vilasam (2023) and Neru (2023) showcased her acting prowess and commitment.

She showcased her versatility in 2024 when she appeared in the comic hit Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil.  She played a modern art student coping with personal tragedy in her subsequent part in Rekhachithram (2025).  She is now working on the romantic comedy Mr. and Mrs. Bachelor (2025), which she co-stars in with Indrajith Sukumaran.  The movie is expected to be released later this year, and fans are already excited about it.
