My teaching is based on the belief that I believe each and every student has the potential to learn if they are afforded the opportunity to have a profound knowledge of the material being taught to them and if they are provided with the materials necessary for efficient learning.

When evaluating my effectiveness as a teacher, I look at the exam results of my students and listen to the feedback they provide. The following are my four criteria for determining whether or not I have been successful as a teacher:

Here are some of the most important comments made by parents. 

• E2STEM teachers help my child become more comfortable talking with family members and other people in public.

• I've seen my child become more responsible in his or her own learning.

• E2STEM helps students be more helpful around the house and do things I've never seen them do before, like cleaning the house or bedroom, washing the dishes, and so on.

• Before starting E2STEM, my child only worked alone, but now he or she can work in groups.

•  The E2STEM teachers help my child feel more comfortable taking on new tasks, like working on group projects, entering competitions, applying for scholarships, and so on.

• My child is now able to use a computer and speak English, which he/she was not able to do when he/she was in the countryside.

"This class is transforming me to be an independent learner. Teacher Tontan’s teaching method is giving resources to students and encouraging them to think first before explaining the answer right away, so It was hard to adapt to his teaching method, but it’s a really useful skill that I gained. In addition. We learned more than math here with the assignment of making math presentations with Latex and taking Coursera course on learning how to learn, etc. However, what I like most about his class is his openness to student’s suggestion on what he could do to help us get better at math or making math more interesting, especially in this Bac2 examination year."

I've learned a lot from you over the past twelve months, both in terms of the maths concepts you teach and the life skills you share in reflection class. You taught us students beyond how to apply the formulas, in addition to how to understand the concept as well as the application of Math and a deeper knowledge of the subject in each lesson. The way you use examples from real life and real-life situations to demonstrate mathematical concepts helps me to visualize them. Furthermore, whenever I encounter a difficult maths problem, you are there to assist me in breaking the problem down into manageable parts, making it easier to focus on and solve. "I'm one of the students in T.Tontan Hak's class and I wanted to provide a review of my experience in his math class. I have found T.Tontan Hak's math class to be highly effective and beneficial for my learning. I used to think that math class was only for solving the exercises by using the formula that was already written in the textbook but that's not the case for T.Tontan class. T.Tontan Hak's teaching methods are highly engaging and interactive, which has made the learning process enjoyable and motivating. The most enjoyable part about his class is that he challenges us to think critically and apply mathematical concepts to real-world situations. This approach has not only helped me understand the relevance of math in everyday life but also improved my problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities."

"My experience of learning math with you was unforgettable and also incredible. I have studied math with you for 2 years, your teaching method was very good, and very essential for all of the students because you helped us to engage more and explore more into the concept of mathematics. Instead of applying the formula, you have guided us to learn more and understand more about how to use math in our daily lives. Learning math is not just applying formulas but also wanting to see how beautiful is it in different factors. "What I am interested in the most is that the teacher always asks us to find out the purpose of learning each lesson by using some questions like ‘ What is it? and How we can apply it in our daily lives. ’​​ Furthermore, the teacher always makes us think deeply about each lesson and exercise because when we think we can understand it rather than remembering it. Another thing is when we learn about formulas such as Integral or Derivative, the teacher asks us to find out how those formulas come from (Solving). Asking questions is the thing that teacher love the most. The teacher wants his students to ask when they don’t understand and he loves to answer it."

"I am one of the students in teacher Tontan's math class. Not to be over exaggerating, but his class made me improve my math skills tremendously. Before studying with teacher Tontan, my math was below average. I could do the basics but I'm not exceptionally good at it. I started studying math with teacher Tontan in 11th grade, during the Covid-19 pandemic. Even through online classes, he still managed to teach me well. We only got to study face-to-face in 12th grade, and his teaching only got better. I'd usually get bored in math classes because I can't understand a word my teacher says. However, in teacher Tontan's class, he makes us play warm-up games before he teaches his lessons. During class, he would start off by calling students up to answer the previous lesson's questions so that we would be engaged in the class, and also get a revision from the last class. Teacher Tontan would equip us with useful study materials. He also created a website to combine teaching aids like past exam papers or teaching videos so that it's easier for us to study. He always tries his best to make sure that all his students receive fair treatment, making sure everyone is comfortable with his teaching. I am forever grateful to teacher Tontan for letting me see the value in mathematics, piquing my interest in math, thus enabling me to pass this subject with good scores."

"In my high school memories, just throwback to the time that I studied with teacher Tontanat in grade 12. I will never forget that time in math class. That time was very special for me because In math class, the teacher provided us not only the formula for passing the exam but also tried to explain and ask questions about the concept to all students, explaining why everyone in the class should overthink rather than remember the lesson.  Some kind of activity in the math class that I enjoy the most is when the teacher puts the exercise on the whiteboard and creates another small group to do it. I don't get tired or bored too much in math class.  The last thing is that the teacher encouraged me to do an exercise, share it with my CL group, and discuss it. It made me improve more than before, and I got a good result for the grade 12 national exam. 

I'm very excited that I have learned a lot from you It is not only math but I can know the details and the application of it in daily use and it is very useful. When I begin the foundation year (University) I use tip learning how to learn that I learned it from e2stem that help me catch up the lesson easier.

"I have been a person who is really into math since I was younger. Moreover, when I joined teacher Tontan`class, I was extremely in love with math because he engaged the lesson with the real world, such as how to apply math concepts in real life and it made me more interested and also discovering the joy and power of mathematics. Additionally, I like the way he taught, such as how he explained the lesson step by step clearly and easy to understand. On the other hand, his math class taught me how to think logically, analytically, and creatively. It also helped me develop a sense of curiosity and wonder about the world around me. Furthermore, outside the class, he also enjoys answering questions whenever I have a question. In the class, he provided an assignment to complete as a group that we needed to do some research and most importantly we needed to explain in the whole class and it makes me remember the lesson for a long time."

"Looking back to my math learning experience with T.Tontan's class, it was such a wonderful time that I will never forget. In his class, he never let any student feel alone because he always gave us tasks to do, learn, and help each other and he always checked on every student to make sure that they are understand. One thing that I remember about his class is when the school had been closed due to the Covid-19 lockdown and we had to study online, at that time he spent his time making a lot of videos explaining and breaking down every math concepts to make the lessons easier for students to understand. I sincerely appreciate his effort. The thing that I enjoyed most about his class is the group assignments. I gained a lot from completing those assignments including math concepts and applications, teamwork, collaboration, responsibility, research skill, and explaining skill that are beneficial to my university life."

"My name is Hoeurn Manet. I used to be an 11th and 12th grade student of Teacher Hak Tontan. 2 years studying with him, I can say that he is an insightful teacher and facilitator who walks students through various learning strategies in order for students to genuinely understand the subject. He guides students to be independent in learning by participating in group discussion, doing research and will therefore gain a pure understanding of the lesson on their own. After that, he can add-on to complete what is missing. Teacher Tontak is also willing to spend extra time helping those who face academic struggles too to make sure that all students can go altogether from lesson to lesson. Mathematics might be a tough subject, but he conducted the lesson in a simple way to understand and also came up with engaging activities to energize the class too."

"Throughout my two-year journey of learning mathematics under the guidance of Teacher Ton Tan, I gained much understanding of the concept behind each lesson. This proved to be immensely beneficial when I got to university as it allowed me to understand the lessons in some of the classes that have mathematical concepts more quickly. From my experience learning with teacher Ton Tan, I noticed that he always tried to use different methods to teach and help us gain a deeper understanding of each lesson. One of my favorite activities from his class involved working as a team to comprehend the lesson and present our understanding to the entire class. This proved to help me a lot in understanding the lesson. Additionally, I gained valuable knowledge of LaTeX, a tool that, although not directly connected to mathematics, greatly assisted me in effortlessly writing mathematical equations and formulas in documents.

Furthermore, Teacher Ton Tan encouraged us to write reflections after each lesson. This reflection serves as a summary that facilitates future revision for exercises and exam preparation."

"From my experiences while studying in your maths class for these past two years, what I really liked the most was that one time when you assigned a topic of the functions lesson to each CL and we had to conduct a teaching session one by one. I really learned a lot from peer teaching and class engagement was at its peak at that time. Another thing is that I gained a lot of understanding from the different materials that you have provided us, mostly the limit and integral exercises.
