Technical core (often referred to as the tech core), is a set of courses that are specific to the pathway. These courses will help students gain the foundational skills needed to be successful in careers in their chosen pathway.
Students use problem solving and communication skills that reveal integrity, and empathy to meet the current and future needs of the business and communications industries.
Students demonstrate curiosity and understanding by exploring the diverse perspectives and needs of the global market.
Students master collaboration and adaptability skills that leverage the strengths of a team to create a cohesive unit.
Students will develop and maintain a strong work ethic and persevere through adversity to complete projects on a specific timeline.
Students in the School of Business Leadership & Entrepreneurship at Winnetonka High School will collaborate to tackle problems, design solutions, and participate in industry focused projects leveraging individual cultural, ethnic and racial backgrounds. Students will interact with industry partners through a continuum of work-based learning experiences (internships, shadowships, company site visits, business mentors). Using authentic industry protocols, students will showcase their professional business and communication skills necessary to compete in a culturally diverse market.
Graduates of Winnetonka School of Business Leadership & Entrepreneurship will independently and collaboratively identify their unique purpose in college and career possibilities, initiate problem solving efforts with empathy, and be accountable for professional communication in a global economy.
