When I install the game I get Installation failed. What do I do?

This happens with the DVD version of the game. Run the setup using compatibility mode - Win95 or Win98.

The game crashes after entering the first portal leading to South Plain.

This happens when the game cannot find the game's disc. You probably don't have any or more than one disc inserted.

I have weird graphic glitches and /or missing textures?

There's not yet an universal fix for that. Join our Discord and tell us your issue in particular.

The game doesn't save proberly.

In Windows 10 make sure your save files are not set to read-only. In Windows 7 or lower you can try compatibility mode - Win2000.

Can I start the game without a disc?

Yes, we got patches on our Discord Server.

Can I change the language of the game?

The Special Edition comes multilingual. You can install the game in your desired language or use the Tonic Trouble Launcher you can find on the downloads page to switch between them whenever you like. Retail Version however comes with only one language. You'll need the correct version.

Why does the Intro video not play when I start a new game?

You're using a DVD version. Unfortunately videos in that version won't play. If you want the Intro video play, use any CD version instead.

You started the game directly with an unpatched Executable. Don't do that, the game will crash at some point. (Special Edition)
