Here’s the 5 skills I believe it’s important that no one talks about :
1. Articulation
I used to have good ideas but couldn’t express them. Meetings, interviews, conversations… I don’t sound confident. Recently, I started practicing to articulate my thoughts better.
2. Writing & editing
I spent years consuming. Courses, reels and articles. Felt productive… but created nothing. The shift happened when I started posting, writing, building. It’s scary to put your messy thoughts online but I guess that’s where growth is.
3. Negotiation
No degree teaches you how to say: “I’m worth more.” I’ve left money on the table just because I didn’t ask. This skill alone changes your income.
4. Public speaking
It’s not just speaking on stage. It’s how you present yourself daily. Confidence is a trained skill and my biggest goal of 2026 is to practice confidence.
5. Leverage (AI, systems, people)
I used to be the hardest worker, but in today’s AI world , the hardest worker doesn’t win anymore. The smartest operator does. If you’re not using tools and systems, you’re playing on hard mode.
That's the bucket list I always wish to complete
You will be surprised how their reactions!
I discovered that how smiling to someone could righten someone's day and foster connections, even in the most unexpected moments.
Often, we're so accustomed to take photos and sharing them online. People have social media on the brain while they’re traipsing the globe. Indeed, it fosters a sense of connection while we’re far away and allows us to share our most exciting moments with friends and family.
However, this led me to question myself: what's so important about visibility in socials? Could I not just live in the moment and savor experiences through my own eyes?
In the end of the day, whatever is going on in the real world is more important than your feed.
Usually on a trip, I strive to take good pictures and visualising the memories makes me happy.I enjoyed taking self-portraits with nice outfits while travelling . However, while I am in solo trip, there's no one who could take nice outfits photos for me. I need to ask for help from strangers on photos. And... the disappointment from poorly captured photos often swings my mood. We often live in the Instagram aesthetic world, people show the best part of themselves, pictures all with that carefully staged, color-corrected, glossy-looking aesthetic. However, it is important for us to learn that the Instagram world is not real. These idea lifestyle and not only does it bring completely unrealistic expectations when it comes to how a regular person looks and dresses, but also obligates you to fit into one particular type of lifestyle.

Hard truth I had to learn is that I used to think I was lazy. Turns out, I was just depending on motivation… and motivation is unreliable and doesn’t last long at least for me)
But once I set up better environment or systems, things are easier and stopped feeling like a constant battle on my mind. I realised the environment influences your choices more than your intentions ever will.
If something requires constant motivation and willpower to resist on snacking , I won’t stick to it.These 3 weird tricks made my life easier, not because I tried harder, but because I changed what I’m surrounded by.
3 “weird” tricks that made my life easier:
Trick 1 : I follow the 80/20 food rule + meal prep
I’m someone who will snack out of boredom, not hunger. So instead of “being stricter,” and cut them out , I make them 20% . I meal prep the 80% of nutritional meals to reduce decision fatigue of choosing what to eat.
After meal prep, I put healthy and balanced meals front and centre. Snacks are usually hidden l or harder to reach. So when I open the fridge tired or hungry, I grab what’s in front. I still enjoy snacks, just not by default.
Trick 2 : I have a walk-and-think rule
Whenever I’m stuck (like staring at my screen for 20 minutes trying to write one sentence), I go for a walk. I used to sit there forcing it… and get nowhere. Now, halfway down the street, the idea usually clicks. This always works because I noticed that your brain solves better in motion, not under pressure.
Trick 3 : I keep a “things I changed my mind on” list
I used to thought being busy = being productive ( but it’s not) ; I thought some methods worked… until they didn’t
Every time I update my thinking, I write it down. It feels uncomfortable but it trains ur intellectual honesty. It stops me from pretending I’ve got everything figured out.And weirdly, it makes adapting easier and less personal.
