PROGRAM OF THE LTTA IN ESTONIA 

9/12/2019 – MONDAY

- 8:40 : meeting with the teachers in front of the hotel (Liis Raal-Virks)

 - 9:00 : welcoming ceremony + concert in the school’s assembly hall (Liis Raal-Virks, Kadri Keskküla, Tiina Saarits, headmistress Mrs. Anneli Rabbi)

- 9:45-10:30 : presentations about Estonia, Pärnu and Pärnu Ühisgümnaasium; the presentations about Estonian traditional architecture, recycling in architecture and sustainable renovation in Estonia (Estonian students)

- 10:30-10:45 : coffee break in the canteen of the school

- 10:45-12.30 : workshop „The basics of drawing“ in the room 139 (Marika Ristmäe)

TEACHERS´ MEETING FOR THE COORDINATORS in the room 219 (Liis Raal-Virks)

- 12:30 : lunch break in the school canteen

-13:30-14:15 : lecture by Kadri Maikov, professor of Eesti Maaülikool (Estonian University of Life Sciences) „Healing gardens“ in the room 139

- 14:15-14:30 : short break

- 14:30-16:00 : practical workshop by Kadri Maikov „Healing gardens“ + visions about the Siinmaa Park

 -18:00-22:00 – opening party of the project „Evening of Cultures“ for all the project teams

Each country prepares a program of 20 minutes to present its culture (you can teach us some traditinal songs, dances or games etc) + each country brings some traditional snacks for the big tasting of local snacks of our 6 countries. 

10/12/2019 – TUESDAY

 - 8:30-10:15 : workshop I „Creation of 3D models of the future Siinmaa Park“ (Marika Ristmäe)

- 13:30-15.00 : workshop in science „Measuring my Electrical Field“ (Meeri Rebane, Liis Raal-Virks)

- 15:45 : TEACHERS: meeting in front of the Hotel Pärnu

- 16:00-17:30 : FOR THE TEACHERS : guided tour in the Museum of Pärnu with tasting of historical and local specialities J (Eve Merilo, Sarmite Tammekivi)

 - 8:30-9:30 : Rehearsal of the presentations of the students’ visions about the Siinmaa Park (Marika Ristmäe, Liis Raal-Virks)

- 10:00-12:00 : Presenting the ideas about the future Siinmaa Park in the Town Hall of Pärnu to the mayor, the main architect and the main gardener of the town of Pärnu (Marika Ristmäe, Liis Raal-Virks, Anneli Rabbi, Tiina Saarits)

- 12:30 : lunch

- 13:30-15:00 : workshop about the program „SketchUp“ (Marika Ristmäe)

- 15:15-16:15 : workshop on creation of posters (Kaia Metsaalt)

 12/12/2019 – THURSDAY

 8:15: meeting in front of the Hotel Pärnu with everybody

8:15-10:00 : Educational tour in Pärnu „On the Path of Olev Siinmaa“ (Sarmite Tammekivi, Eve Merilo)

13/12/2019 – FRIDAY

 -9:00 : departure to Tallinn in front of the Hotel Pärnu (Liis Raal-Virks, Tiina Saarits, Kadri Kõrre)

-11:00 : visiting The Museum of Estonian Architecture with an educational program

-13:30-15:30: lunch in the medieval restaurant Peppersack in the old town of Tallinn

-15:30-16:30 : walking tour in the old town of Tallinn to discover the medieval architecture of Tallinn

-16:30-18:00/18:30 : free time in the town center and visiting the Christmas Market

-19:00 : checking-in into the Hotel Ülemiste + saying goodbye
