TomoDenoise

Description

TomoDenoise contains software programs for 3D noise filtering of tomograms in Electron Tomography, CryoET and volume Electron Microscopy. The programs are fast, memory-efficient and also user-friendly in terms of parameter tuning. The package contains programs for linear, non-linear and anisotropic denoising that can be downloaded individually or the whole package TomoDenoise at once.

Individual programs

Linear Denoising

• TomoGauss - Denoising based on Gaussian Filtering.

Non-Linear Denoising

• TomoBFlow - Denoising based on Beltrami Flow.

Anisotropic Denoising

• TomoAND/TomoEED - Denoising with Anisotropic Non-Linear Diffusion (AND).

• TomoNLM - Denoising with Non-Local Means (coming soon).

• FlowDenoising - Denoising with Structure-preserving Gaussian filtering.
