The 2024 Toronto-Ottawa-Montreal Semantics Workshop (TOM 16) will be hosted by the Department of Linguistics at the University of Toronto on May 11, 2024. The workshop will be in person. We invite the submission of abstracts on any topic in semantics, pragmatics, and its interfaces.

Talks will be 20 minutes long with 10 minutes for questions. Abstracts should be maximum one-page in length (with references on a second page), with one-inch margins and 12 point font (Times or equivalent), and should indicate whether they should be considered for a talk, a poster, or both.

Abstracts must be submitted to their local contacts (see below) on March 15, and to the U of T contact by March 30. Authors will be notified of acceptance by April 15.

Le 16ème Atelier de Sémantique de Toronto-Ottawa-Montréal (TOM 16) aura lieu au Département de Linguistique de l’Université de Toronto le 11 mai 2024. L’atelier sera entièrement en présentiel. Nous invitons des résumés portant sur tout sujet en rapport à la sémantique, la pragmatique, ou leurs interfaces.

Les présentations orales dureront 20 minutes, et seront suivies par 10 minutes de questions. Les résumés ne doivent pas dépasser une seule page (avec les références sur une seconde page), avec des marges d’un pouce (2.54 cm), et une police de taille 12 (Times New Roman ou équivalent). Les résumés doivent indiquer si vous préférez une présentation orale, un poster, ou les deux.

Les résumés doivent être envoyés à votre contact local (voir ci-dessous) avant le 15 mars 2024, et au contact de l’Université de Toronto avant le 30 mars 2024. Les auteurs seront tenus au courant de la décision d’ici le 15 avril 2024.
