本プロジェクトに採用された学生は、以下の義務を負います。

・ 本プロジェクトの趣旨が、高度な専門力と異分野の知性と協働できる汎用力を兼ね備えた、越境型理工系博士人材の育成であることを理解し、この修得に努めること。

・ 博士後期課程修了後も、我が国の科学技術・イノベーションの創造に寄与すること。

・ 研究計画を踏まえた研究活動に専念すること（申請時の研究計画を参考に研究進捗状況を評価する）。

・ 3か月以上（単独でも複数の組み合わせでも可）の学外研鑽を行うこと。海外派遣が望ましいが、国内企業・学術機関での研究実施やインターンシップも可とする。

・ 博士修了要件の単位とは別に、指定された授業科目の中から３年間で２科目以上履修すること。

・ キャリア開発・育成コンテンツリストより、指定された講座又はイベント等に毎年２つ以上参加すること。

・ 本プロジェクトの指定する研究会やワークショップ、セミナー等に参加すること。

・ 研究費等の執行内容を記録した収支簿を提出すること。

・ 日本学術振興会（JSPS）の特別研究員（DC2）に応募をすること。

・ 毎年、確定申告をすること。

・ 「研究機関における公的研究費の管理・監査のガイドライン（実施基準）（平成19年２月15日文部科学 大臣決定／平成26年２月18 日改正）」及び「研究活動における不正行為への対応等に関するガイドライン（平成26年８月26日文部科学大臣決定）」を十分に認識するとともに、国立研究開発法人科学技術振興機構及び本学が定める研究倫理・コンプライアンス教育を受講すること。

・ 論文謝辞等に本プロジェクトに助成を受けたことを表記すること。

・ 上記の履行状況及び研究業績等をまとめ、指定された期日までに提出すること。

・ 博士後期課程修了後も、キャリアに関する追跡調査に最長10年間協力すること。

Students selected for this project will have the following obligations:

・　Understanding that the purpose of this project is to foster cross-border science and engineering doctoral human resources who have both highly specialized skills and transferable skills to collaborate with intelligence in different fields, and strive to acquire these skills.

・ Continuing to contribute to the creation of science, technology and innovation in Japan after completing the doctoral program.

・ Focusing on research activities based on the research plan. (The research progress will be evaluated with reference to the research plan at the time of application.)

・ Conducting off-campus study for at least three months (either alone or in combination). Overseas study is preferred, but research or internship at a domestic company or academic institution is also acceptable.

・ Taking at least two of the designated courses in three years in addition to the credits required for completion of the doctoral degree.

・ Participating in at least two events designated from the Career development and training content list every year.

・ Participating in research meetings, workshops, seminars, etc. designated by this project.

・ Submitting an expenditure book that records the details of the execution of research expenses.

・ Apply for a JSPS Research Fellowship (DC2).

・ Filing a tax return every year.

・ Reading and understanding thoroughly 「研究機関における公的研究費の管理・監査のガイドライン（実施基準）(平成19年２月15日文部科学 大臣決定／平成26年２月18日改正)」 and 「研究活動における不正行為への対応等に関するガイドライン(平成26年８月26日文部科学大臣決定)」, and take the research ethics and compliance training provided by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) and Tokyo Tech.

・ Indicating in the acknowledgments that you have received a grant from this project.

・ Submitting a summary of the above performance and research achievements by the designated date.

・ Cooperating in career-related follow-up surveys for up to 10 years after completing the doctoral program.
