Manami Hori has researched health policy and management for 20 years. She has served on numerous state and local governments council committees in Japan, and has been involved in making “Japan Vision Health care 2035” as a committee member. From 2015 to 2019 Manami Hori was a senior adviser of Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. moreover, she is a member of sub-committees on using anonymous medical information for Social Security Council, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and has been a member of sub-Committees of Financial sustainability for Fiscal System Council, Ministry of Finance, and a committee member of comprehensive measures for stable supply realization of pharmaceutical products , Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

Karen Ejersbo Iversen has a Ph.D. in Japanese economic politics. She has worked with Danish digitalization for over 2 decades. Since 2012, she has developed an interest in Japan’s digitalization. In 2020 and 2021 she was stationed at the Danish Embassy in Tokyo as a sector expert in digitalisation. Currently, she is also Senior Visiting Research Fellow at GLOCOM, Tokyo and has just returned from a stay as Visiting Researcher at Tokai University, Japan.

Masaru Harada started his carrier in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan in 1989. He has held various types of position in Tokyo such as Emergency Relief Coordinator, Director of Diplomatic Mission in the Ministry as well as Master of Ceremonies in the Imperial Household Agency. He took the current position of Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Japan in Denmark in 2020.

Hiroo Yoshida started his carrier in Sumitomo Forestry Co., Ltd. in 2015.
He had been in the divisions of law, land management, general affairs and external relations in the company.
He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan in the beginning of this year and took the current position of Second Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Denmark in February 2023.

Iben Mundbjerg Gjødsbøl's research explores how data-intensive medical technologies are integrated into the everyday clinical care for patients with heart disease, and how these technologies shape and transform our practices and experiences of health and illness. Employing ethnographic methods—participant observation in clinical and research settings and interviews with health professionals, researchers, patients, and policymakers—she researches the social, ethical, and organizational implications of digitalization and personalization of healthcare with a specific focus on genomics and artificial intelligence.

Born in Japan, educated in Japan, US and Denmark, Mika Yasouka has received international education in Computer Science, Informatics and Interaction Design. Mika Yasouka has applied Scandinavian design methodologies, especially stakeholder involvement methods (from in-depth user studies to co-creation) to design and implement advanced IT systems, Robots, AI into society, in collaboration with large global companies and public organizations. Since 2000s, Mika has worked on health tech social implementation projects both in Denmark and Japan.
