Welcome to Together She Thrives - a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the mental, emotional, and social wellbeing of women and teen girls across the Northern Rivers in NSW. Our principal purpose is the promotion of mental health and the prevention and management of mental illness - including anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, and other mental health challenges - through education, structured mentoring, workshops, retreats, community events, and public awareness activities. We create safe, inclusive spaces where women and teen girls feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Our Story:

Together She Thrives was founded by women who recognised the need for meaningful connection in a world that often feels overwhelming. We are passionate about reducing isolation, supporting mental health, promoting the prevention and control of disease, and helping women of all ages rediscover their voice, their value, and their inner strength.

Women's Events
We host a FREE women’s event every week, rotating through different days to make it easier for everyone to join. These are drop-in style gatherings - come as often as you like, whenever it suits you. Each event is a chance to connect, recharge, and share in a supportive space with other women in the community.
Teen Girls – 4-Week Programs
Our FREE programs run over 4 weeks, with one event each week on a day that suits the participants. Each session offers a safe, supportive space for teen girls to express themselves, connect with others, and build resilience.

Develop confidence and self-awareness
Strengthen friendships and peer support
Learn practical tools for managing stress and emotions
Explore new interests in a positive environment

Community Workshops
Covering topics like self-care, boundaries, body image, confidence, and more.
Wellbeing Retreats
Reconnect with yourself in a beautiful, supportive environment.
Future Plans
We're working towards school outreach programs, peer mentor training, and pop-up events in regional communities.

These programs are designed to encourage growth, belonging, and empowerment - supporting the prevention and management of mental health challenges while helping women and teen girls thrive both personally and socially.

Together She Thrives is a not-for-profit organisation based in Mullumbimby with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, dedicated to helping women and teen girls connect, feel supported, and thrive. All of our programs and events are completely free to attend, ensuring that cost is never a barrier for anyone seeking connection or personal growth.

We run weekly women’s events that create safe, welcoming spaces for connection, conversation, and wellbeing. Participants enjoy activities that promote self-care, confidence, and social connection, while learning new skills and building supportive networks.

Our 4-week Teen Girls program empowers young women through interactive workshops and activities focused on self-esteem, resilience, and personal growth. The program encourages healthy friendships, emotional wellbeing, and practical skills to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

By fostering meaningful connections and providing nurturing experiences, Together She Thrives reduces isolation, promotes mental health, and creates a strong sense of community for women and teen girls in the Byron Shire.

We are collecting donations to ensure these programs remain free and accessible. Your tax-deductible contribution directly supports women and girls to feel valued, inspired, and empowered, helping our community flourish one connection at a time.
