Lessons

Lessons are conducted at my fantastic teaching studio, just a few minutes drive from Todmorden town centre, with private parking.  High quality drum kits and equipment are used; there are always two drum kits available, so that the student can play, as well as see demonstrations of what is being taught.  A PA system is in place so that students can play along to music, where necessary.  We even have tea & coffee facilities, so you can have a brew and a biscuit whilst you learn!

Lessons are on a one-to-one basis and can be taken in half hour or one hour slots (or longer, if required).  How often you have lessons is completely up to you.  As a guide, most students have either weekly or fortnightly lessons, but you can tailor this to suit your needs and budget.

If you have a drum kit, either acoustic or electronic at home, great.  If not, don't worry, all you need to get started is a pair of drum sticks and a practice pad...if you need advice on purchasing equipment I am here to help.

On request, I can also undertake home visits to support students in setting up or tuning their own drums.
