At first, the students took some time to observe the materials and their possibilities, such as textures, colors, shapes...
Then, they started to manipulate the tools offered, creating hypotheses about them, and making tests.
After the first contact, they started to use their own bodies to make new discoveries and gather more data.
When we create a provocative environment for the student, he has more opportunities to learn and play different roles. When we have set this learning center we could see how enthusisastic our students were. They started to handle all the tools by themselves and to manipulate different materials.
Each student traced their own path exploring the materials according to their will. For instance, The student 1 manipulated The objects individually, mixing water and clay. The other two students got themselves involved in the same drama, as they play with each other and share the objects between themselves .
As you can see, the student 1 was more individualist. She spent the entire time exploring the same materials and objects, choosing not to share this moment with her friends.
