Homerun Derby

General Rules:

• Each participant will receive 10 pitches.

• Hitters may use a provided pitcher or bring their own pitcher.

• Hitters should use their age approved/appropriate bats.

• An announcer will introduce each hitter before their round begins.

• Participants should be ready to hit when their name is announced.

• Each hitter receives one “free” foul ball that does not count as a pitch.

• Any additional foul balls count as pitches.

Scoring

• Balls are scored based on the field point zones.

• The ball is scored at its final resting place, so rolling counts!

• A true out-of-the-park home run is worth 1,000 points.

• The highest total score wins their division. 

• Some divisions were combined due to numbers.

• The top points scorer in each division will receive a $50 gift card.  In case of tie, we will have a single hit off.

Additional Notes

• Families should be prepared to sign a short waiver prior to beginning.

• Event staff reserve the right to make final rulings on scoring and boundaries.

• Most importantly — have fun and cheer on all participants!

Home Run Derby Schedule:

• 6:00 PM – 8U & 9U

• 6:30 PM – 10U

• 7:15 PM – 11U

• 7:30 PM – 12U

• 7:45 PM – 13U & 14U

• 8:00 PM – 15U–17U

• 8:15 PM – 18 & Over
